What is your style?
-Lifestyle’ish. Casual, candid and very relaxed. If you look at my images, they are all different. I capture what I see and like. I do prefer locations that are simple and interesting, I look for places where the subjects will look their best.
How much do you charge to photograph a wedding?
-I have different price points for every bride & groom. Plus I have an a la carte price system, so you can pick and choose only the items you need. Give us a call at (646) 450-4266 so we can create a customized package that suits your budget.
How much do you charge for a portrait session?
-My portrait sessions starts at $350.
What items do you recommend for a wedding?
-Eight (8) hour coverage.
-A copy on a DVD of your edited pictures.
-Proof prints of you pictures.
-B&G Wedding album.
-Parents album.
-Engagement Session.
-Guest book with images from engagement session.
-A couple of canvas prints and regular enlargements.
What equipment do you use?
-I use Nikon D3s, D800E, D5100 cameras for digital photographs.
-I use Contax 645, Leica cameras, Hasselblad and Fuji FP-1 for film photographs.
Do you bring extra lights and stuff?
-When time allows, I use strobe lights. Video lights …
How many pictures do we get?
-I deliver around 500 edited images for an 8 hour wedding event.
How many actual images do you shoot during the day?
-I shoot between 800-1500 for an 8 hour wedding event. After editing it to around 500. I then delete or throw away the rest.
Do you work with an assistant or second shooter?
-Almost always I have an assistant and if required a second shooter is available.
How soon do we get to see the images or get the proofs?
-The images and proofs are available in around 6-8 weeks.
What do you wear on weddings?
-I usually wear black shirt and black pants. This is the SOP here in the tri-state area.
Do you only shoot New Jersey weddings?
-We mostly shoot weddings in New Jersey and New York. I do also regularly cover CT, Martha’s Vineyard and Southern California.
My wedding is in Los Angeles and your based in New Jersey, will you be available to shoot my wedding in LA?
-Yes, we will travel to Los Angeles to photograph your wedding.
Do you charge extra to photograph a destination wedding?
-We just need to add the cost of travel and accommodation to the coverage fee.
Do you sell your digital negatives or high resolution scans?
-The digital negatives are included in the package on digitally shot weddings.
-High resolutions scans are available separately on Film shot weddings.
Do you charge premium when we want film instead of digital?
-There is a premium on an all film weddings. This is to cover film and lab fees.
Who makes your albums.
-We use Queensberry to bind our albums.
How much are your wedding albums?
-Queensberry matted or flush albums starts at $700.
Do you have an office where we can meet and view your sample albums?
-I have a meeting place in downtown Manhattan. In the TriBeCa area.
How much do you charge for overtime.
-$325/hr.
Do you shoot RAW?
-In digital, I shoot RAW.
-In film, its REAL RAW
We only want a family portrait. Do you do that?
-Yes I do shoot family lifestyle portraits.
How much do you charge for a portrait?
-$350-450
-Takes place at home, or another location.
-Up to four people ($30 for each additional person)
-Private online gallery of 25-30 images for one week.
-Prints and products purchased a la carte.
